Obituary for Abram Hassan

Abram Hassan, of Reisterstown, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at the age of 40. He is survived by his wife Amy Hassan (nee Fink); by his son Spencer Hassan; by his parents Felice and Kenneth Hassan; by his brother Marc (Dana) Hassan; by his niece Amanda Kohlmeyer; by his parents in-law Martha and William Fink; by his dearest friend Andrew Emmer; as well as by many close friends and family members.

Growing up, Abram is remembered as a fun and adventurous child. His family loved and admired his contagious smile, which he passed along to his son. He was sensitive, empathetic, loyal, and a great friend. Abram loved music—both listening to and playing several instruments—and had an artistic mind.

As an adult, Abram became an avid researcher, foodie, and technology buff. Abram always said that meeting his wife, Amy, was the happiest day of his life—until later the birth of his son. Abram and Amy shared a love of going on cruises, spending long weekends visiting small towns, and enjoying a variety of restaurants and cuisines. Abram loved teaching Spencer about all the parts of the drum set and how to keep a beat.

Abram loved with all his heart.
