Alan Kirby Stein, of Baltimore and Manchester, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday May 11th, 2021, at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late and adored Margery Cynthia Stein (Nee Kolodner); father of Denise Copeland, Michael Stein; Poppi of Mandi & Tim Alisea, Dr. Joshua & Laise Levin, Drs. Jeffrey & Anna Stein, Nicole & Phillip Rock; Great Poppi of Kamryn Cregger, Aiden Cregger, Matthew Alisea, Lily Alisea, Julia Rock, Mariah Levin, Alexander Levin, Cash Rock, Bellamy Levin, Blake Stein, Kaia Stein; Loving companion of the late, adored Dorothy (Barber) Lipman; son of the late Esther and Nathan Stein; brother of the late Norma Lee Schwartz.
A family graveside service will be held Friday May 14, 12pm at Oheb Shalom Memorial Park, Reisterstown, MD. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory can be made to the charity of your choice. Shiva will be held on Friday following the service at 3640 Millers Station Road, Manchester, MD, 21102 until 7pm, and Sunday starting at noon at 2102 Heritage Drive, Baltimore, MD, 21209.
