Alice Abrams Schreiber, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Saturday, May 6th, 2023 at the age of 92. She was the amazing mother of Jeri Wilkins (fiance, Michael Smith), Karen (Howard) Fireman and Leslie (Andrew) Kern; adoring grandmother of Jeff Gouline, Jordan (Jackie) Gouline, Seth Fireman, David Fireman, Alex Kern (fiancee, Kat Durham), Trevor Kern and Elliott Kern; great-grandmother of Alexa and Madison Gouline. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Eugene Schreiber and loving parents, Murray and May Abrams.
Alice was smart, feisty, principled, an energetic student of life, and above all, devoted to her family. She graduated Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Goucher College. She earned Masters Degrees from Columbia University and University of Maryland. In her professional life, she worked for The Federal Reserve of New York for The Federal Open Market Committee and later became an accomplished family therapist.
Funeral services are private. Contributions in her memory may be sent to The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore or to the ACLU. The family will be in mourning at the late residence, Sunday, May 7th from 6pm-9pm with a service at 7:30pm and Monday, May 8th from 12pm-8pm, with a service at 6:30pm.
