Obituary for Alla Shumin (Matov)
Alla Shumin (nee Matov), of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, May 11th, 2021 at the age of 68. She is survived by her sister Larisa (Michael) Matov, her niece Polina (Michael) Damiano and their children Maks, Nathan, and Shayne Damiano, her nephew Alex (Annie) Matov, and their children Aidan and Raquel Matov. She was predeceased by her husband Slava Shumin, and by her parents Rakhil and Moisey Matov.
Alla was a beloved daughter, wife, sister, aunt and great aunt. For over 20 years, Alla devoted herself to the nurturing and educating of many children in our community through her daycare center. She loved traveling the world and spending quality time with her family and friends.
