Obituary for Amelie K. Bank (Kaufman)
Amelie Bank (nee Kaufman) of Baltimore MD, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2022, at the amazing age of 95. She left this earth as she lived it. Vibrant. Bright. Strong. Independent. Her smile would light up a room and her wit and wisdom entertained all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by the many who called her friend and family.
She is survived by her devoted daughters, Phyllis Bank, Rosie Bank and Suzy Bank-Schamberg; her loving grandchildren Forest Spiegel, Zack Schamberg (Marie Murray), Octavia Spiegel, and Gabe Schamberg (Ashley Phillips); her son-in-laws Rob Schamberg and Mark Waldman; her sister-in-law Linda Kaufman; her adoring niece Amy Harlan; and her forever-loyal pup, Charlie. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Burton Lee Bank; and her dearest brother, Buddy (G. Arnold) Kaufman.
Services at Sol Levinson’s Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Monday, November 7th at 12:00 pm. Interment Baltimore Hebrew Cemetery on Berryman’s Lane. Please refrain from sending flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore, 101 W. Mt. Royal Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21201, or Gilchrist Hospice Care, 11311 McCormick Road, Suite 350, Hunt Valley, MD 21031. The family will be receiving guests at 33 Farmhouse Court, Pikesville, MD 21208 on Monday, immediately following interment.
