Obituary for Anita Fox (Lapinsky)

Anita Fox (nee Lapinsky) passed away December 18, 2020, at the age of 81. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kenneth Fox; and parents, Max and Sylvia Lapinsky. She is survived by her loving children, Beth Fox, and David (Meghan) Fox; grandchildren, Riley Fox, and Dylan Fox; brother, Jack Lapinsky (Cheryl Rider); as well as Norma Geller, Danny Geller, Dr. David Geller, Robin and Dr. Ted Diamond, Howard and Lucy Geller, and Jane Rosenberg.

Anita Fox grew up in Springfield Ohio, where she attended Ohio State University with her future husband, Kenneth Fox. After getting married on October 12, 1960, Anita and Kenneth began a meaningful and amazing life together. Kenneth worked with thoroughbred horse racing in Ohio, New Jersey and Maryland, working in the industry for over 60 years. While Kenneth worked in horse racing Anita helped educate as a student teacher, she then became a Market Research consultant and even proctored the Maryland Bar exam. She proudly served on the Howard County Board of Elections in Columbia and was known in each endeavor as a hard working, dedicated employee.

Anita will be remembered for her artistic and creative mind, her independence and the confidence she always held in herself. Generosity and Kindness were her north star as she helped many people she met with homeopathic healing and Reiki. Her generosity showed most clearly in her hours dedicated to meaningful organizations, like St. Jude, Disabled Veterans, St. Labre School, No Kid Hungry Campaign, and B'nai Brith.

Anita will be missed dearly by the family she leaves behind and the thousands of people she helped in every way she could. May her memory be a blessing.
