Obituary for Anne Gresser (Gasser)
Anne Gresser (nee Gasser), of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Friday, February 24th, 2023. She is survived by her children, Sara I. Gresser-Gunter (Robert Gunter), Ruth L. Gresser (Barbara Johnson), Saul I. Gresser (Julia W. Gresser), Victor S. Gresser, and Veda Gresser-Mitchell (William H. Mitchell III); her grandchildren, Mariel Bass, Chiara Blue LaFayette (Michael John LaFayette), "Sierra Rebecca" Mitchell, Alexandra Renée Mitchell (Victoria Diggs), and Gabrielle Amanda Mitchell; her siblings Keith (Lois) Gasser, Bonnie (Michael) Zell, and Barbara (late Kelvin) Levitt; and by her sister-in-law Myra (late Robert) Schein. She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years Zelic Abraham Gresser; her son, David Phillip Gresser; and her parents, Grace and Saul Gasser.
Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Sunday, February 26th, 2023 at 1pm. Interment Beth Tfiloh Cemetery - Windsor Mill Road. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to Planned Parenthood Action Fund, 123 William Street, Floor 10, New York, NY 10038 or League of Women Voters of Maryland, 6600 York Rd., Suite #211, Baltimore, MD 21212. The family will be in mourning at 111 Hamlet Hill Road, #1003, Baltimore, MD 21210. Evening services at the shiva home will be held at 6:30pm, Sunday through Thursday, and visitors are welcome beginning at 6pm. The family will also be receiving at the shiva home on Monday and Tuesday from 12pm to 2pm.
