Arnold Lee Mazor, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, December 31st, 2020 at the age of 89. He is survived by his beloved wife, Janet Mazor (nee Mellits); children, Eileen (Dr. Howard) Jacobs, Susan (Ron) Sutton, and Edward Mazor (Tracey Ritter); sister, Judy (Frank) Dermer; grandchildren, Andy (Kirsty) Sutton, Scott (Samantha) Sutton, Danny (Dr. Michelle) Jacobs, Dr. Mitchell (Liz) Jacobs, Brett Mazor, Cara Mazor, and Annie Sutton; step-children, Dr. Kenneth (Tracy) Mellits, Dr. Arnie (Dr. Bonita) Mellits, and Dr. Marc (Dr. Christina) Mellits; 9 beautiful great grandchildren; and caregiver and friend, Sherella Coates. He was predeceased by his wife Esther Mazor (nee Pearlman); and parents, Edward and Mollye Mazor.

Arnold loved his family, first spoiling his children and later his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After the passing of his beloved wife Esther, he was fortunate to find his "Jani-girl.” They adored each other and treasured their summers in Ocean City. He was quick to laugh (especially at himself) and made fast-friends with whoever he met (even if he could never remember their names). His stubbornness in the face of adversity and handling challenges with his characteristic good nature served as an inspiration to all who knew him.

Services are private. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to Gilchrist Hospice Care, 555 Towsontown Blvd, Towson, MD, 21204.

Eddie and family;
Heartbroken to hear of Arnold's passing. He was a wonderful man and so much fun to be around. He was generous and taught me how to do titles in Towson, even though I was taking away his account with my father-in-law. We used to spend hours in the office telling each other the same stories about this or that problem with a title or a client or just something funny that happened in the Record Office. One of the best was from Annapolis and you'll know it : "Me and the Moose were horsing around and it fell." Always positive, always able to find humor in the ironic. Everybody who worked around him loved him. He was a gentleman in every way. May you all be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. Jeff Silverberg

We have had the pleasure of knowing Arnie for 45+ years. He always had a positive outlook on life and always had a kind word to say. He truly cared when he asked “how’s the family ?” He sincerely wanted to know. One word sums up Arnie, “MENCH”.
Rest In Peace our dear friend.

What a guy....funny, personable, & always knew how to avoid issues (great lawyer). He warmed all our hearts by making you believe he truly cared. We all know he loved his family & we all heard so many loving stories from wearing a bathing suit to shower with his girls to sending a tray from Caplans to Eddie when the 1st girl spent the night. Arnold’s life makes me think about the importance of DECENCY & all that is gained from knowing this very DECENT man.
