Dear Lois and Family, Our most heartfelt condolences on the passing of your beloved Ben. As these many messages have conveyed, Ben was beloved, respected, and admired by all who were fortunate enough to share his space. I met Ben at City College as we timidly started life beyond the comfortable confines of our familiar neighborhoods. Right off I knew my June '62 classmate was of substance, kindness, and warmth. And nearly 60 years later the only change is that he became even more of the same. The Sigman-Green-Cardin legacy is renown, and Ben made it quite more-so by the manner in which he carried himself and represented our community. This gentleman, this gentle man, made life lasting impressions on those he touched, and his name will always be for a blessing. The model he set is worthy for all to emulate. He will be truly missed by so many. May all of you know no more sorrow.

Very saddened to hear of Benji's passing and I send my sincere condolences to his family. I met him in third grade when I came to Liberty School #64 and we were casual friends through our school years and the Lancers Boys Club. Benji was, as many have stated, a soft, thoughtful, and kind person. Never an unkind word and a smile that was so genuine, that took you in, making you feel so good inside. After high school, I left Baltimore, but we renewed our friendship when a group of us began meeting annually a few years ago. Sadly, Ben was unable to attend this year's get-together. We will all miss him.

When I met your dad, I asked him if he was related to Dr. Sigman. He lit up and proudly declared that you were his son. It was obvious to me that he appreciated what you do and your role in the community. I imagine that he was an excellent role model.

Dear Lois,
It is with such sadness this morning when I read about Ben's passing. Since I was a child,
the Sigman Family was my extended family through my parents Irv & Iris Kaplan.
I have wonderful memories for life being part of the B.Green Family. It is time once again
to sift through my parents pictures of their life and joyful memories of living within a working family.
My parents loved coming to work everyday with a smile. This is something that is very rare today. Ben always had a smile on his face. Lois I am so sorry for you loss. You and Ben will always be part of my
