Dear Anne, Lynn and Ira. I am so sorry for your loss. We were neighbors for many years and our parents were such good friends. I thought it was so ironic that Bettye passed away on her and Burt's anniversary. Cherish the happy memories and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Levinson and Bernstein families, I have such great memories of Bettye. We were roommates at University of Maryland College Park. I live in Boca Raton and ran into Bettye about 10-15 years ago at a restaurant here. May her wonderful memories give you strength during this difficult time.

Paul and I are so sorry to learn of your mom's passing. We know you will be supported by the entire community when you have done so much to support others in this time of pain. My mom has been gone for 11 years and I still talk to her everyday - sometimes out loud. There's nothing like losing a mom. Be well and enjoy her memories.

Lynn, I'm sorry to read about your Mom's passing in today's paper. I only met her once 56 years ago. It's hard losing a parent, them being a huge piece of our lives. God bless you and yours.

As one of my mom’s best friends, she was always Aunt Bettye. I’ll always remember her dressed to the nine’s and ready for fun. I’m sending big hugs to Anne, one of my oldest playmates.

Dear Levinson Family,
I am sorry for your loss. It seemed whatever restaurant we chose on Friday nights, we chose the same ones as Burt and Bettye. When I first met her so many years ago, I thought she was a movie star. A lovely lady, for sure. I keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.
