Obituary for Carol Anita Brandwein
Carol Anita Brandwein (nee Kaynard), of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Saturday, April 10th, 2021 at the age of 77. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Tammy Caperon; grandsons, Ethan and Joshua Caperon; brothers, Jerry (Cheryl) Kaynard and Michael Kaynard (Cynthia Bledsoe); nephew, Matthew (Margaux) Kaynard; and great-niece, Helena Kaynard. She was predeceased by her cherished parents, Mina and Louis Kaynard.
Carol was a selfless person who always focused on the people in her life, not the things in her life. For more than 20 years she cared for her mother, Mina, who lived to be 106 years old. Just like her mother Carol shared a deep love of Judaism and her Jewish heritage. As the oldest child, she was always the one who took care of everyone. But Carol's greatest joy was her two grandchildren and she lit up when she saw them. In the past year she also delighted in watching her one year old great-niece, as a symbol of the continuation of the family.
