Carol Saiontz (nee Jane Carol Phelps) of Pikesville and Miami, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 at the age of 85. She is survived by her loving children, Susie (David) Nevins, and Steven (Paola) Saiontz. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Edwin C. Saiontz. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren. Lindsay (Josh) Rubens, Brent Saiontz, Amanda (Daniel) Gluck, Courtney (Jon) Sider, Melissa (Jeffrey) Luse, Evan (Jenna) Schapiro, Rachel (Nick) Geary, Mathew (Leah) Saiontz, Gonzales Austin, Frederica Nevins, Jake Nevins, and Sean Berning. 12 great-grandchildren Reese, Brooks and Dane Gluck; Sloane and Bari Rubens; Stanley and Leni Sider; Logan and Eric Luse; Benson and Jude Geary; and Hayden Schapiro.
Carol was an amazingly loving and fiercely proud mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was never happier then when she was surrounded by her family and friends.
She was active with Temple Oheb Shalom and the True Sisters Organization of Baltimore.
Funeral services to be held on March 24 are private.
