From the moment we met, Charlotte welcomed me into her family with open arms. She treated me like an “insider” as if we shared a secret because we both loved her son. As we approached our wedding, she asked my mom to bring her a sari from India which she totally rocked at the reception! She embraced our family and our culture as if it were her own. When the girls were born, she never missed her weekly multi-generational days on the town, she, Laura and one or both of her granddaughters.
Whether it was playing the piano or singing songs or teaching Marisa how to “loom” Charlotte’s intense love for the arts-music, literature, creativity- those were gifts that she imparted to both Marisa and Carina and will live on in them. will be forever missed. And never forgotten.
Love you.
