Corinne "Corky" Frid (nee Goodman) passed away in her sleep on April 23, 2023, at the age of 96 ½. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Rosenberg (Terry Sherk), and Debra Frid; grandchildren, Justin (Heather) Rosenberg, Adam Rosenberg, and Dr. Melissa Rosenberg and family; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Ellie, and Aidan; loving nieces and nephews; Jane (Jim) Quinn, Carol Sue Comras (late Marc) and family, Jonathan and Susie Shoolman and family, Aaron Lee and Shar Shoolman and family, Kathy and Yanke Dinovitz and family, Shelley and Barry List and family, Janet and Rabbi Moishe David Goldberg and family, Arlene and Arnie Gittleson and family, David and Rachel Frid and family, Mitchel Frid and family, and the late Dr. David Frid and family; loving in-laws, Ruth and Ralph Frier and family, also two more generations of beautiful and loving nieces and nephews. Corinne was predeceased by her beloved husband Morris “Murry” Frid, sisters, Hilda Goodman and Miriam and Mac Shoolman, brother, Jerome Daniel Goodman, beloved in-laws, Margery Goodman, Harry (Lillian) Frid, and Louis (Judy) Frid, and Toby Williams, and beloved parents, Aaron Lee Goodman, and Jeannette Clarice Goodman (nee Isacsohn.) She is survived by countless friends and family, whose heart she touched through her impressive life.

“Corky” grew up in Annapolis and worked at the Evening Capital and volunteered with USO in handing out rationing tickets. She met her husband, Murry, by chance, when attending a gathering in Baltimore at a home where he was renting the downstairs apartment. Soon to marry and move to Baltimore, playing a vital role in her husband's growing wholesale distribution business. When children were school age, Corinne enjoyed volunteer work, initially, with City of Hope, AMC, and Sinai Hospital; worked part time later with several Doctors and actively participated in Edith Rosen Strauss Organization, of which she was president and other key roles for many years. Also, members of Covenant Guild and several other charitable groups.

For pleasure, “Corky” and Murry were charter members of the Summit Country Club, where family pool fun, Mah-Jong, card games, good food, and weekend dancing to live music with friends and family could not be beat! Mah-Jong, Canasta, avid reading, and other intellectual interests were maintained her entire lifetime. Corinne’s natural ability to listen, love, and spark contagious laughter will forever make her the greatest “Great”, or “Mom-Mom” anyone of her grandchildren, family, or friends, could have had. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her, may her memory be a blessing always.
