Obituary for David Donald Golub

Dr. David D. Golub, of Pikesville, Maryland, passed away on Saturday, January 14th, 2023 at the age of 98. He is survived by his loving children, Beverly (Jeffrey) Jerome, Nancy Golub, Janet Schenker, and Dr. Diane Golub (Jeffrey) Powers, and his cherished grandchildren, Megan Schenker (Mike) Johnson, Zachary Schenker, Alex Jerome, Holden (Kelly) Powers, and Brent Powers. He is also survived by many loving nieces and cousins. He was predeceased by his adored wife, Marjorie Kahn Golub; his siblings Nathan Golub and Max Golub, and his parents, Zelda and Abraham Golub.

David was born in Syracuse, NY. He proudly served in the United States Air Force in World War II, where he flew 19 missions as a B24 Bomber Navigator. He then graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry from Syracuse University, where he also completed his medical degree.

He was married to his beloved Margie for 62 years and practiced radiology in Baltimore for over 50 years.

His remarkable memory, quick wit, encyclopedia of jokes and stories will be missed. Most of all, FOX News has lost their biggest supporter.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Wednesday, January 18th, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Interment Baltimore Hebrew Cemetery - 2100 Belair Road. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association. The family will be in mourning at Woodholme Country Club, 300 Woodholme Ave, Pikesville, Maryland 21208, Wednesday after interment until 7:30pm with a service at 6pm. Shiva will continue on Thursday at the family residence, 1208 Scotts Knoll Court, Lutherville, MD 21093 from 10am - 2pm and 4pm - 7:30 pm with a service 6:00pm.
