Obituary for David Francis Smith
David Francis Smith, of Buffalo, New York, passed away on Sunday, February 28th, 2021 at the age of 71. He is survived by his loving wife June Ellen Smith (nee Symonds), his son Idon Michael Elfasi, his siblings Mary (Ronnie), Michael, Christine, Catherine, and George, and by his nephew and niece James Rydzynski and Mary Rydzynski. He was predeceased by his parents Rita and George Smith.
David was the most compassionate, joyful and holiest man June has ever known. He loved the Lord with all his heart and treated everyone with respect and dignity. Although he suffered greatly with illness for many years, he rarely complained. His life was a model of nobleness and sanctity and his Heavenly love will remain with June forever.
