Obituary for Doris Schwartzman (Matz)
Doris Schwartzman (nee Matz), of Silver Spring, Maryland, passed away on Monday, April 24th, 2023 at the age of 92. She is survived by her cherished children, Donna (Gregory) Eisenstadt, Terry Schwartzman, Bruce Schwartzman (Janene Malamud), and Larry Schwartzman; brother, Arthur (late Rosalie) Matz; grandchildren, Jennifer (Eric) Sender, David (Dr. Rachel) Pritzker, Scott Schwartzman, James Schwartzman, and Drew Schwartzman; and great-grandchildren, Gavin Sender, Noah Sender, Eliana Sender, Ian Pritzker, and Alexandra Pritzker. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dr. Jerome Schwartzman; brother, Stanford Matz; and parents, Rose and Albert Matz.
Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Thursday, April 27th, 2023 at 1:00 pm. The family prefers that attendees wear masks. Interment United Hebrew Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic, 6555 Rock Spring Drive, Suite 280, Bethesda, MD 20817. The family will be in mourning at 422 Samanthas Court, Reisterstown, Maryland 21136, on Thursday immediately following interment, with a service at a time to be determined. They will also be receiving on Friday, with times to be determined.
