Obituary for Elaine Bormel (Bormel)
Elaine Bormel, of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Tuesday, April 12th, 2022 at the age of 71. She is survived by her beloved husband, Arnie Kaplan; children, Lisa (Steve) Paquette and Jeffrey Kaplan (Sheena Fincham); siblings, Gloria (John) Segall, Frani (Norman) Fink, Larry (Barbara) Bormel, Sherry (Joshua) Mauer, and Ira (Janis) Bormel; grandchildren, Baylee, Blake, and Bryndi; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Elaine was predeceased by her parents, Sally and Albert Bormel.
Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Friday, April 15th, 2022 at 10:30 am. Interment Bnai Israel Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to Gilchrist Hospice Care or Multiple Sclerosis Society. Due to the uptick in COVID the family will no longer be receiving Friday after the service or on Sunday.
