Ellen Jane Van Horn (Holzman), of Hardyville, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, May 6th, 2023 at the age of 76. She is survived by her beloved soulmate, friend, and husband of 47 years, Leon M. Holzman; her daughters, Donna Lynn Chewning (Holzman), and Jo Ann D'Angel (Holzman); her "adopted" daughters, Jennifer Pelton Dietzman, Kristine Ada Carter, and Jane Rohde; her siblings, Evelynn Marie Norris, Wayne Floyd Holland, Carol Catherine Graves, and Dwight Sherman Holland; her "grandchildren", Kateri Pelton, Lucas Pelton, Cameron Pelton, Gene Christopher Carter, Kristine D'Voli (Chewning), and Renee D'Angelo; her "great-grandchildren", Emilia D'Avoli, Wil Aponte, and Tyler Aponte; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Karen Lee Holzman; her siblings, Iva Mildred Holland, Paul Stuart Holland, Lee Montague Holland, and Elsie Luella Holladay; and her granddaughter, Keri Anne Aponte (Chewning).

Funeral services at Levinson Funeral Home, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Baltimore, MD 21208, on Friday, May 12 at 1pm. Interment Saters Baptist Historical Cemetery - Lutherville, MD. Please omit flowers.
