Obituary for Ellwood Sweren
Ellwood Sweren, of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Tuesday, February 14th, 2023 at the age of 92. He is survived by his step-children, Shelley Holzman Romano (Brian Mieras) and Janice Holzman Bonventure (Michael); by his brother, Arnold Sweren, and by his grandchildren, Andrew Romano, Alyssa Bonventure and Eric Bonventure. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Rosalind Sweren (nee Shevitz), and by his parents, Sayde and Harry Sweren.
Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Thursday, February 16th, 2023 at 12:00 pm. Interment Baltimore Hebrew Berrymans Lane Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to Gilchrist Hospice Care, 11311 McCormick Road, Suite 350, Hunt Valley, MD 21031. The family will be receiving at The Grill at Harryman House, 340 Main Street, Reisterstown, Maryland 21136 immediately following interment.
