My late mother, Petey Sherr sat at Estelle's dinner table at Spring House and she was always so kind to both of us. I had dinner with them many times and my fondest memory is of the four women at the table holding hands and singing the Forest Park school song. After they sang, they still held hands and said, "FRIENDS FOREVER." I am in my office crying over the death of Estelle. She was very special and I will never forget her and the friends my mother made while at Spring House.

Dear Don, Anne, “Aunt” Ethel, Steve & Family,
Thinking back to those days on Jonquil Avenue, I can’t help but think of Estelle & Herman! And what a couple they were! The memories are wonderful and endless, as I’m sure the ones you have are, which will remain with you always! Hopefully they will help you get through the difficult times ahead, especially knowing how many lives and hearts Estelle touched over the hearts. I know mine was one. You were blessed to have had her for as long as you did, although it’s never long enough! May she Rest In Peace and I hope that it brings you some comfort in knowing that all who knew her are sadden by her loss!

Dear Don, Anne, Ethel and family, Estelle and my mother were friends since they were young girls and eventually next door neighbors at their assisted living facility. They had a life long friendship. We visited Estelle every time we went to see our mother and if we didn’t get to her room fast enough Estelle would wheel herself into my mothers room. She was such a special lady. Anne, as a daughter in-law you were so devoted to her and she always told us how lucky she was to have you. We hope in time your wonderful memories will ease your pain. Please accept our deepest sympathy.

My deepest sympathy on the loss of Estelle. I met her in my teens. She was so sweet, friendly and always smiling. We actually attempted taking tennis lessons together despite the difference in our age.
Those were fun times. I remember how close you, Estelle and Phyllis were, even after Phyllis moved to New York . May happy memories help you get through this difficult time. Deepest sympathy.
