Sharon, Sheldon and Larry - I have many fond memories of your mother and many very funny (and some embarrassing!) times she had to deal with, with us kids on Aragon Avenue. Your mother was a wonderful warm and generous woman. One would need a very hard heart to not feel loved in her presence. Losing a parent is difficult, of course. She will remain in your hearts (and in many other's hearts as well) forever. My thoughts are with you and yours.

Dear Sharon, Sheldon, Larry, and Family,
I am saddened to hear about your Beloved Mom’s passing. I have many fond and vivid memories that go way back to our childhood. “Aunt” Esther was always so warm and welcoming..... I loved playing at your house and attending birthday parties that she made extra unique and special with her many talents. I can recall the lovely clothing she made by hand. Even as we grew up and went our separate ways, whenever I saw your Mom, she was extremely engaging. Losing our parents is so very difficult. Hoping that all your beautiful memories will bring you strength and comfort during this difficult time and always!

I am sorry to hear of Esther's death. She and Jerry were lifelong friends of my parents, Beverly and Bill Pollack; the earliest story I remember is of Jerry and Bill's joint bar mitzvah, I think in 1939, where the "party" consisted of cookies and tea. As couples, they socialized regularly, and I heard stories of Esther and Jerry's far away travels, including I believe down the Amazon; wherever they went they maintained kashrut. I last saw Esther at my mother's funeral five years ago and then after the unveiling. She told me that she always got dressed up for shabbos, even if she wasn't going to shul. My condolences to the family. Leslie Pollack

Dear Kruger Klan,

We called her “Rosie”.......so many good memories ......she was so welcoming to me and my family. Her tayglach were so special, as well as her art work, her sewing, cooking and baking, taking care of her family, (especially Jerry), all of which were her pride and joy. Although we lost touch over the past years, I never stopped thinking of her. Keep your memories close to your heart, and carry on her traditions.

Dear Sharon, Sheldon. Larry, Melvin & family
I was so very saddened to see this posting today. Esther was the epitome of a balabusta--cooking, baking, sewing, artwork. Whatever she did she did it with style & flair. My parents could not have had better next door neighbors. Our moms were quite a pair at times!! My deepest condolences to all of you. May Esther's memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
