Evelyn Portney Smith, of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Sunday, April 9th, 2023 at the age of 93. She is survived by her husband Harold O. Smith; by her children Fran (Chezky) Medetsky, and Sander (Jennifer) Smith; by her brother Nathan (Sue) Portney; by her grandchildren Malkie (Sammy) Azaria, Dassy (Jimmy) Schinazi, Rabbi Eli Medetsky, Tova (Avi) Sonnenblick, and Yuval Smith; and by her great-grandchildren Olivia and Elliot Azaria, Renee, Sophia, and Eitan Schinazi, Mordechai and Tzipora Medetsky, and Emma Sonnenblick. She was predeceased by her siblings Freda Portney, Janet (Harry) Reiness, and Phyllis Portney, and by her parents Ethel and Joseph Portney.

Services at Chevra Ahavas Chesed Cemetery, 9780 Liberty Road, Randallstown, Maryland 21133, on Sunday, April 9th, 2023 at 11:30 am. Please omit flowers.
