After graduating from Goucher College, she stayed in Baltimore and married Saul “Buzzy” Schulhoff Jr. where she quickly became ensconced in the tight-knit group of friends and was a fixture at the Suburban Club.

She is survived by her sons, David G. Schulhoff and Stephen G. Schulhoff along with Kareen Balsam -David’s wife, and Steve’s life partner Jeanie Van Ryzin. Gail is also survived by her sister, Judith Richter; and grandchildren, Talia, Nathan, Sander, and Sevie Schulhoff. Gail was predeceased by her loving husband, Saul Schulhoff Jr., and parents, May and Rabbi Abram Goodman.

Services were held at Sol Levinson's Chapel, in Pikesville, MD 21208, on Sunday, March 5th, 2023, followed by interment at Baltimore Hebrew Belair Road Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be sent to the Baltimore Museum of Art, 10 Art Museum Drive, Baltimore, MD 21218.
