Sending my condolences on the passing of a good man. Harry Blitstein lived the American dream, immigrating from Cuba, working hard, and raising a family and also proudly serving our country in a war. I have great memories of him driving me in the Hebrew school carpool in his Chevorlet Impala, and being a loving husband and father. May his memory always be for a blessing.

Dear Janet, Stanley, David and family. I am so saddened to hear about your dad. We were neighbors on Crestheights Rd for many many years. I will always remember his great smile, his great sense of humor and how hard he worked in his craft. When my dad was in the nursing home, he would always ask, “where is Harry living now ?” We would tell him Chippewa. He was always so happy to talk about your dad. Now he can welcome him into heaven and they will be best buddies again. May he rest in eternal peace and May your sweet memories help you during this difficult time.

Dear Janet, Stanley & Helena, David & Alissa, grandchildren, and great grandchildren
Harry and his Wife Janet and their children were our neighbors and friends for almost 56 years. First in Millbrook, where they lived 3 doors away and then again on Chippewa Drive a few houses away. We will remember him always for his great craftsmanship abilities, his sense of humor, great smile, and that wonderful Cuban accent. We hope that all the great memories you shared will sustain you during this difficult time. We send our heartfelt condolences from our family to yours. May his memory be for a blessing.
