Wishing you peace and comfort on the loss of your dear Harry. He was a wonderful person that I had the privilege of working with for many years. I learned a great deal from Harry especially his own wonderful way of working with people and always teaching. May your memories of Harry always bring smiles to your faces.

Dear Ostrow family,

Ever since I joined Ner Tamid in 2014, Harry was always a friendly face and a person I could shmooze with. Despite our different generations, he always made me and my kids feel at home in shul and we always enjoyed speaking with him and seeing him there. He was a delightful person in our lives and we are all saddened by this loss. May Hashem comfort you and your family and all of the Ner Tamid family. B'soros Tovos. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of this wonderful man. I didn't know him as well as Jerry did, and he always commented on what a great guy he was....thoughtful, smart, truthful, always thinking of others, so kind and so involved with his loved ones. I'm sure you have such wonderful memories and they will sustain you. May the love of family and friends help you along the way as it is a hard road to travel. Please accept my sincere sympathy and I believe that Jerry is feeling the pain also. May he Rest in Peace and know those precious memories will forever be close to your heart.

Dearest cousin Sonia,
Karyl, Bruce and I are so very sorry to read of Harry's passing. He was the salt of the earth, a wonderful man with a heart of gold. You both were a magnificent couple and matched so perfectly. Your souls were surely a match made in heaven and love never dies. He will always be by your side. The love you shared for each other, your family and friends was just beautiful. I will always remember how wise, loving ,caring and gentle a man Harry was. Mom and Dad adored him and you of course, and often expressed those feelings to us. They would say, whenever they were with you, it was as if you had never been apart and felt like you both were like their younger siblings. May the memories you shared soothe your soul until you meet again. With so much love!

Condolences go out to Sonya & the entire Ostrow family ! I am sure all members of Ner Tamid Greenspring Valley Synagogue, both Congregation & Brotherhood (past & present) mourn the loss of Harry Ostrow. Harry was part of the bloodline that is a cohesive & integral part that makes up the nucleus of Ner Tamid ( Everlasting Light)!!! Harry was there for the brotherhood for many decades. I do not believe that I ever heard him complain about helping out with various chores relating to brotherhood activities, consisting of breakfasts and donor dinners...Harry was the epitome of a true, Jewish, righteous, man....a father, grandfather...but most of all a committed & loyal husband to Sonya. A true, honest friend to most all the people he came in contact with, whether at the Synagogue or in the workplace. Harry was always a good friend to chat with. At a difficult time of Covid & now 8 days of Passover as we reflect back on our Jewish heritage, freeing ourselves from Bondage in Egypt....we must now mourn for the Ostrow family & keep the memory of Harry deep in our hearts. May Hashem bless Harry's soul. Baruch Hashem !!!
