My brother Ron told me the sad news of your dad's passing. Your parents were wonderful neighbors, and as you both know, I used to babysit for you two. When I married in 1962, my husband Howard and I were unsure of whether we'd live in Minneapolis or Baltimore. Your dad gave Howard good advice about which ad agencies to approach, though we decided to stay up North until moving to Houston. May your father's memory be a blessing for all of you.

Harvey and Rosalie Jerome were our next-door neighbors on Rockwood Avenue beginning at my age of 15. My father and I already knew Harvey from years before when we all participated in the shows produced by Yedz Grotto. We watched Jeff and Scott growing up. My sister Ellen and I send our prayers and thoughts on the passing of your father. So many many great memories...

We first met Harvey when his late wife, Rosalie, came to volunteer for me at JFS. We became good friends and kept in touch even after I retired. My husband and I visited Harvey and Rosalie in their home frequently after that and became friendly with Harvey, too. Somehow we lost contact with Harvey over the years after Rosalie passed.. They were a beautiful couple totally devoted to each other and crazy about their children and grandchildren. We were deeply saddened to read of Harvey's passing now. To the entire family, we offer sincere condolences. May Harvey rest in peace and may you be comforted by memories of better times. Baruch Dayen Haemet.

I remember the coincidental anagram well. It was his both his home and his work: Waco (Court) and WCAO (Radio). I was a disc jockey there from 1979-1985 so I naturally had a special affinity for Harvey...the sales he made paid my salary!

I was very saddened this morning to see his name in the Levinson listing. Harvey was a true gentleman and mensch. I'll always remember him fondly.
