Obituary for Chaya Wein (nee Perl)
Chaya Wein (nee Perl), of Brooklyn, New York, passed away on Shabbos, June 11th, 2022. She is survived by her loving children, Rifka (Mark) Harris, Rabbi Chaim (Frumi) Wein, Rabbi Simcha (Aliza) Wein, and Baruch Wein; brother, Yanky (Rivky) Perl; and also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her devoted first husband, Lazer Wein, second husband, Moshe Gartenberg; and parents, Avraham Simcha Perl and Lilly Perl.
Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD, 21208, on Sunday, June 12th, 2022 at 1:30 pm. Interment Har Hamenuchot Cemetery, Jerusalem, Israel. Please omit flowers. Rabbi Simcha Wein and Yanky Perl will be sitting in Israel on Monday night, at 2 Rehov Knesset Mordechai Yerushalayim, they will join Rifka and Baruch in Maryland beginning Wednesday morning.
