Obituary for Helen Stern (Bendler)
Helen Stern (nee Bendler), passed away on Sunday, April 3rd, 2022 at the age of 97. She is survived by her son Linas Stern; sister Dolly Rosoff; grandchildren Donna (Mike) Tanner, Lisa (Jamie) Mosberg, Michelle Pasarew, and Stacy Stern; great-grandchildren Sayla Stern, Sawyer Stern, Sophia Tanner, Noah Tanner, Bali Mosberg, and Cruise Mosberg; Maureen and Larry Kessler, Danielle and Les Stettner, Stacey and Hal Miller, Jennifer Rosoff, and all her great nieces and nephew and cousins. She was predeceased by her loving husband Bert Stern; daughter Barbara Pasarew; sister Anita Hirsch; brother-in-laws Sheldon Rosoff, and Harold Hirsch; neice Marlene Rosoff; grandson Steven Michael Stern; and parents Pola and Julius Bendler.
Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel 8900 Reisterstown Road Pikesville, MD 21208, on Tuesday, April 5th, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Interment Mikro Kodesh Beth Israel Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to American Stroke Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241. The family will be in mourning at 111 Church Road, Owings Mills, 21117 following interment on Tuesday and from 12pm to 8pm on Wednesday, with shiva services at 7pm both evenings.
