Hilda Bella Kamenetz peacefully passed away at her home in Tucson, Arizona on Wednesday evening, September 7th, 2022(12 Elul 5782), at the age of 94 years. She had a long and wonderful life. She is survived by her children: Yaakov (Hedy) Kleiman, Rhea Kleiman Merin(Arnie Merin), and Arthur Kleiman. Hilda is also survived by : Rodger (Moria) Kamenetz, Sylvia Scherr, Jill Kamenetz, Sonna Kalis, and Gregory (Doris) Kamenetz. Hilda is survived by grandchildren: Lauren Merin, Britney Lightfoot, David (Brianne) Merin, Aharon Kleiman, Eliyahu Kleiman, Nasanal Kleiman, Jochanon Kleiman, Michael Kleiman, Yoshua Kleiman, and Pinchas Kleiman. Hilda is also survived by great grandson Maurice Segula-Merin in Tucson as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren in Baltimore and in Jerusalem, Israel. Hilda was pre-deceased by her parents Yisrael and Deborah Exler, her sister Yetta(Phillip) Oppel, and her brother Jack Exler. Hilda was also predeceased by her husbands Max Kleiman and Irv Kamenetz, and also by Kevin Kamenetz.

Graveside services will be at Beth T’filoh Cemetery on Windsor Mill Road, Baltimore, MD on Sunday September 11, 2022 at 3:00PM. Please omit flowers. Shiva will be at the home of Jerold and Gail Oppel: 6 Raisin Tree Circle, Pikesville, MD 21208 following internment and on Monday, September 12th, starting at noon. Evening services at 7PM both days.
