I am heartbroken. Howard was like a second father to me. He was my supervisor when I started working at the SCM Cooperation in 1970. He was a wonderful teacher, inspiration, adviser, and confidant. My life was greatly enriched by his friendship. My wife Kathy and I enjoyed many pleasurable visits with Howard and Bernice. The perfect couple. When you look up “Gentleman” in the dictionary, they should just have a photo of Howard there. He will be greatly missed. We extend our deepest sympathy to Roberta and the entire family.

He was a nice man and always knew so much and conversations were always so interesting. May your memories be filled with happy occasions of both your parents and know that they both made impressions on the people around them. Renee Siegel

I have fond memories of the whole Cohen family at Moses Montefiore Congregation in the old neighborhood. Your parents were so kind. Roberta, I am so sorry for your loss.

I enjoyed hearing his stories in conversations about Howard’s family and reading his Korean War stories. His intelligence and accomplishments were high. Uncle Howard will be missed. Condolences to Roberta, Izzy, and Avi.

To Roberta, Isadore, Avrum, and Mark,
We were so sorry to learn of the passing of your beloved father, father-in-law, and grandfather, Howard Cohen. We remember Howard and Bernice as very involved members of our Shul, MMAE. When their health allowed, they were active in the Rabbi's classes and many other Shul activities. We remember your beloved sister, Harriet, too. Not only did we see her in Shul, but she was also at one point, our children's pediatrician. We hope you will be comforted by memories of better times with all your loved ones. May you be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. Baruch Dayen Haemet. We are also sorry we can't be with you because of Covid.
Marcia and Stephen Greenfield, with deepest sympathy.

The congregation at MMAE offers our condolences to Roberta, Avram and Mark on the passing of our long time member, Howard Cohen. Howard was an active member who was very knowledgeable in many disciplines, was always looking calmly and analytically for ways to solve problems and he was a great story teller. Although he was unable to join us at shul for several years because of failing health, we would see him from time to time at North Oaks. We pray that warm memories of your father, grandfather and father-in-law provide you with a measure of comfort.

May G-d comfort you among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
