Deepest sympathy to Leechal’s family. What a great guy. I looked at Leechal like he was Prince Charming because he always helped anyone in distress and was so kind, caring and loving. I’m sure he will always smile down on all of you. May his soul Rest In Peace.

I am so sorry about Leeschal’s passing. Listening to the services reminded me of so many good times we all had together as a large family. If only we could have been together today to reminisce about our parents, grandparents and cousins. Lee was a character and always so much fun as were his stories. Thinking of Murphy, Shirley (the sibling) , Brandon, Justin and your extended family.

I grew up with Alec and Leechal was a fixture during our teen years and especially in the years since Alec's tragic passing. Leechal's presence was always a great source of comfort to me and so many of our friends. I loved hearing about his beautiful life and all of the close bonds he had with his family and friends. Sending my love and condolences to Brandon, Justin and everyone who knew and loved this dear man.

My deep condolences to the Sandler/Grodnitzky family on the loss of Leechel. I met him once, but wish I could have gotten to know him. My mother, Esther Rosenzweig Kruger, was Leechel's mother Etta's 1st cousin and they grew up together in the same neighborhood.

Brandon and Justin (and family)- Big Lee was a true original. It was clear to all of us growing up what an amazing dad he is. And it's safe to say we all took him on as a "dad" of our own. Thank you so much for sharing him with all of us. My favorite memory of Lee was watching him walk into my Bachelor party, as literally the only dad there. And it made perfect sense. He was amazing to be around. Love to you and yours during this difficult time. - Ed and Jennifer Abrams

To the Grodnitzky family.
It is with great sadness that you lost a father, brother, uncle, grandfather and a great friend. We have all been gifted to have known an amazing person. Leechal always had a smile on his face and love in his heart. He looked forward to the Sunday morning brushes and was always the first one there. It will not be the same without him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. May he rest in peace.

Brandon, Justin, and children: Leslie and I extend our heart felt condolences. May Lee's good name be his merit. I have such fond memories. Lee baby sat for my sister, brother and me when we were very young--we always had so much fun. My Father, ava shalom, called Lee Bum #1 and me Bum #2, in part because early on Lee would help me get drinks at Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and weddings. Always a great time with Lee--he was one of a kind!
