Obituary for Janet Blumenstein (Rudich)
Janet Blumenstein (nee Rudich), of Pikesville, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, May 24th, 2022 at the age of 92. She is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Sylvia) Blumenstein and Celia (Nelson) Zahler, her sister-in-law, Marian (Donald) Paul, her grandchildren, Bill (Gina) Zahler, Jason Zahler, and Susan Powell, her great-grandchildren, Aaron Zahler, Noah Powell, and Hannah Schmitz, and her nieces and nephews, Sheldon and Kathy Paul, Randy and Casey O'Connor, Joe and Wendy Post, Carter Post, and Steve Post. She was predeceased by her husband, Alvin J. Blumenstein, her sister, Vilma (Bernie) Post, and her parents, Celia and Joseph Rudich.
She had a long and fulfilling life shared with her loving husband and her family. She was loved by her family and friends and will be sorely missed.
Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Thursday, May 26th, 2022 at 12pm. Interment Oheb Shalom Memorial Park. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to the Alvin and Janet Blumenstein Memorial Scholarship Fund at The Community Foundation of Frederick County or the charity of your choice. The family will be in mourning following the service at 8002 Brynmor Court, #101, Pikesville, Maryland 21208.
