Obituary for Jay Edward Cohen
Jay Edward Cohen, of Windsor Mill, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023 at the age of 76. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Ann Cohen (nee Barthlow); loving children, Brad (Terrilyn) Cohen, Gwynne (Jeff) Helsel, and Aaron Cohen; cherished grandchildren, Ryan Cohen, Chase Cohen, Austin Mech, Ashleigh Mech, and Carson Cohen; adored great-grandson, Carter Mech; and many loving nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren. Jay was predeceased by his parents, Florence and Aaron Cohen.
Jay loved his family and family loved Jay. Devoted Husband of 54 years, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He was a graduate of John’s Hopkins School of Business and was a hardworking man who would selflessly lend a hand to anyone in need. He loved his sports, both playing Softball and coaching his children and grandchildren, and spending time with family and friends watching the Ravens and Orioles. Quick witted with a dry sense of humor with an amazing smile and infectious laugh. He will be missed by many but will always be in their hearts.
Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD, 21208 on Tuesday, May 9th, 2023 at 12:30pm. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, 200 E Padonia Rd, Timonium, MD 21093. The family will be receiving immediately following interment at Bluestone Restaurant, 11 W Aylesbury Rd, Timonium, MD 21093. On Monday, May 8th, 2023 from 5:30-8pm, the family will be receiving visitors at Sol Levinson's Chapel. Please omit flowers.
