We will be holding virtual shivas Thursday-Sunday. The shivas will be open to all, but there will be two with 'focused' friend groups of Jill's as detailed below. Moreover, the corresponding links will be listed beside the appropriate time/group. Also a few notes before I go forward with the schedule 1) when you go to the zoom you will have to be wait to be let in by the hosts (us), this allows us to maintain a reasonable amount of people 2) we will be opening each zoom 30 minutes early which will give us time to let people in and will give you time to work out any technical difficulties. I (Izzy) will try to be active during those first 30 minutes in offering explanations and technical assistance to enable everyone to participate. And to clarify, the service part will be guided by a rabbi, but the zoom shiva will extend for another hour or two, however long we as a family feel comfortable with.

Thursday the 4th, zoom opens at 6:30pm and service begins at 7pm. This service is open to all, but family and close friends will be prioritized. This service will be a full 30-35 minutes. We will be offering our virtual guests the opportunity to read notes, stories, and/or poems, etc
Friday the 5th, zoom opens at 2pm and service begins at 2:30pm. This service is also open to all, but we are calling it the ‘TRAVEL’ shiva. We’d like to offer a space for all of the wonderful people who traveled with my mom to come together and share stories, though this is open to all! Also of note, this shiva will be a shorter service, running about 15 minutes.
Saturday the 6th, zoom opens at 6:30pm and service begins at 7pm. This service is open to all, but this one is being dubbed the ‘OFFICE/COURT’ shiva. Again, we’d like to offer a space for all of the dedicated people who were touched by Jill in the legal community to come together and share stories. This shiva will also be a shorter, 15 minute service.
Sunday the 7th, zoom opens at 9:30am and service begins at 10am. This service is open to all and is not geared towards any particular ‘click’ of Jills! Whether she realized it or not she had so many! Nonetheless, this service, which will also be a short 15 minutes, will conclude our shiva house.
