A really lovely lady has passed.... Luckily, she was granted 90 years in which to live a full life of joy and competition. As an across-the-street neighbor of Joan's, I had many chances to admire her stunning style, handbags, and adventurous life of travel. We shared a love of duplicate bridge and our children, Jon and Robin, went to Beth Tfiloh Hebrew School together. It was sad to lose her and Don from Hatton & Labyrinth Roads corner and even sadder to know she now lives elsewhere where we can no longer visit and exchange news of our childrens' doings and tournament scores. May those left behind find comfort in knowing others loved and will miss her as I do.

We are going to miss you Joan, ever since you and Donald attended our wedding in Paris France, you have been an integral part of our Family. You attended all the simchas, births, Bar and Bat Mitzvots, weddings and unfortunately funerals. We are going to miss your warm and loving way each time we saw each other. Always caring about how everyone is doing. You have been a treasured friend, so classy and elegant. We remember the Broadway trips you organized and the bridge games you attended and got your life masters with your closest friends. You will be sorely missed but grateful to have known such a wonderful, beautiful and kind soul. Extending our condolences to the whole family. With Love Mira, Nick Dahan and Families.

We remember Joan from duplicate bridge. She was a lovely, elegant woman and a true lady. She was a fine bridge player and always kind to her partners and opponents. May it comfort her loved ones to know that others are thinking of you at this time. May Joan’s memory be for a blessing.
