Dear Howard,
Although I never met Joanne, I felt I got to know her a bit through your thoughts about her at the Alzheimer's Association meetings. May you still feel her close with you here and may you find peace and comfort in your family and friends.

Howard, I want to extend my sincere condolences to you and your family on joanne’s passing. I can only imagine how difficult the last few years have been. I took this picture of better days on one of Joanne’s and my lunch outings to Columbia Mall. I always enjoyed our time together and missed seeing you both when you moved. Again, so sorry to hear this news.

What can I say about my lifelong friend? My heart is broken. We’ve shared so much in our 55 years of friendship, & so many memories that I’ll never forget. Howard, everyone should have a husband as devoted as you were. You kept Joanne going all of these very trying years.
