Julian Hirsch Hyman, of Lutherville, MD, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the amazing age of 101.

Julian was born on August 1, 1920 in Baltimore, MD. Julian graduated from Baltimore City College in 1938 and the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Economics in 1942. After graduation he enlisted in the Army Air Corps and served overseas in New Guinea and the Philippines during WWII, and was honorably discharged as a Captain in June of 1946. Following his service he returned to Baltimore to take control of the family business, National Fashions Corporation, where he traveled the globe over 40 times importing women's fashion accessories.

After building the business for 25 years he finally retired at the age of 95 to work full time on his new mission, his legacy book, “U Can Save Our World”, which advocates for the creation of a United World governing body.

Julian is survived by his wife of 69 years, Paulyne Ruttenberg Hyman; his two children, Elisa (Dr. Michael) Schwartz and Steven (Leslie Schleider) Hyman; and three grandchildren, Ryan Schwartz, Evan Schwartz and Liana (Billy) Vadala. He is predeceased by his parents, Solomon and Hannah Hyman; and sisters, Thelma Plaine, Naoma Miller and Marilyn Marcus.
