I am so sorry you lost your parents. I knew Dr. Schreibman when he was mentoring my brother Rick. He was such an amazing person. He was our vet for a very long time and we always loved him. He was an amazing man.

Dear Roberta, David, Frankie, and your extended families: I was saddened to hear of your Dad and Moms passings when a cousin of mine who I stayed with when your Dad mentored me in I believe 1963 or 1964, l told me of same today. Your parents were the greatest! When I practiced in the Baltimore area we got together from time to time, and they were always a hoot to be with. After moving to Wyoming I returned to Baltimore for medical issues in October of 2019 and tried to hook up with them but Gloria told me of Julians battle with Alzheimer’s and timing didn’t work out for me to see them. I regret that. I remember baby sitting for you all as part of my veterinary training with your Dad!! You are all fondly remembered in my memory bank. You were truly blessed to have had them for such a long time, and I feel blessed to have loved and shared experiences with them as well.

Dr Schreibman was a wonderful vet for our dogs, from when
we first saw him at Strathmore Animal Hospital through all the many
home visits he made until he retired. No one can measure up to his
dedication and caring. We have missed his visits. Our sincere sympathy
to all of you on his passing and that of your mother.

Your dad was a sweet, kind and gentle-man. He was our family vet and took such good care of our Pug, Sugar. I have fond memories of him visiting our house, always with a smile and later seeing him at Beth Tfiloh. Sending my condolences to your family.

Dr. Schreibman was our family doctor for our dogs during the 1960s and 1970s. So compassionate and caring -- especially during times of crisis. May his memory serve as a blessing --

Dear David, Roberta, and Frank,

I worked for your father during the mid sixties. It was my first job, and I remember how wonderful I felt when he hired me. He was a great boss and mentor. I remember assisting him in afternoon surgeries while listening to opera. He was considered a master surgeon by his peers.

I also babysat the three of you, Mimi, Gigi and Zelda. You were great kids....reared by parents who were filled with love for each other.

The consummate veterinarian: capable, dependable, understanding......He always helped me and children with pet situations, from care to suggestions for another cat when ours became too ill to live, to anything else we needed. I don't have pets anymore but if I did, I'd want to find some just him. Only good memories of this wonderful man.

Dear Schreibman Family,
We are so sorry to hear of the loss of both of your parents. I met Julie when I was at Sinai Hospital and he took me to his animal lab where I did my first hysterectomy. We all became social friends and he also cared for our dogs over the years. I even called him once when we went on vacation to N.C. and one of my puppies ate mouse poison and he guided me through the treatment. He was a very compassionate professional and when several of our pets had to be put down, he did this with great care and dignity. We will kiss them very much but are proud to have had the privilege of being a part of their lives.

Dear Frank,
I haven’t seen you since high school but I did have the pleasure of your father helping to care for my little beagle, Lucy. After Dr. Gehr passed away, your dad stepped in and took care of some of his patients. My little Lucy was older and developed a heart condition. Your dad would routinely drop off food and medication for her at my house. He was just so incredibly thoughtful. I will never forget his kindness. I’m sure you will hear many stories from other families whose pets were cared for by your dad. May you find comfort in warm memories, and may his memory be a blessing to all those who were touched by him.

Remembering Dr. Schreibman for his loving care and rehabilitation of a stray we took to him who was injured by a car near our house. He kept Mabel for many months, nursing her back to health, and then charged only a small fee upon her return to us.

Dear Schreibman Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your dear parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. I worked for Dr. Schreibman at the Strathmore Animal hospital from 1964 to 1969 when I was teenager. I shall always remember fondly the times we talked about the animals, school, and family. I know that you will all miss them terribly, but I am pleased that David, Roberta, and Frankie and their children and grandchildren had wonderful parents who loved each other and their families, and even loved Zelda, the Great Dane who thought she was a toy poodle.

We are too sorry for the loss of your dad so soon after your mom. I will always remember your dad at my parents' house, Rhona and Paul Dorf. In addition to being a close friend of my parents, Dr. Schreibman was often at our house taking care of at least one of our 4 dogs and later cats. He was such a thoughtful and sensitive person. He always showed such kindness and patience both with people and animals. He is now with his wonderful Gloria.

So sorry for your loss. It was my privilege to have cared for your dad over the years.
He and my dad, Jerry, bowled together many years ago. I became acquainted with your dad as the Vet at Sinai Hospital in charge of the animals used in studies. Your dad gave us our first dog, Josh, many many years ago.
May his memory be for a blessing.

Dear Schreibman Family,
We are shocked to read that Julian has passed away just days after the love of his life, Gloria. It is an enormous loss for all of the Schreibman family, but they must be celebrating Valentine's Day together, as they would want it to be. We extend our sincerest sympathy to each of you and pray that your fond memories of this beautiful couple will bring you comfort at this time.
