Obituary for Lea Margalit Alperstein (Wartzman)
Lea M. Alperstein (nee Wartzman), of Owings Mills, Maryland, passed away on Friday, August 19th, 2022 at the age of 71. She is survived by her loving sons, Eric Alperstein and Joshua (Jessica) Alperstein; step-son, Jonathan (Shannon) Deaton; and her adored grandchildren, Greggory Alperstein, Ryan Alperstein, Jacob Alperstein, Mason Alperstein, Gabriel Alperstein, Spencer Alperstein, Destin Matthews, Shaun Elkins, Dominic Deaton, Jada Deaton, and Jewelya Deaton. Lea was predeceased by her partner, Don Deaton; and parents, Olga and Jack Wartzman.
Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Tuesday, August 23nd, 2022 at 9 am. Interment is private. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to The Jewish National Fund - Trees for Israel, 78 Randall Avenue, Rockville Centre, NY 11570; or The North Shore Animal League America, 25 Davis Avenue, Port Washington, NY 11050. The family will be in mourning at the Pikesville Double Tree by Hilton, 1726 Reisterstown Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21208, Immediately following the service until 1 pm, and then continuing at 5 pm, for Tuesday only.
