Obituary for Leah Friedman (Goldstein)
Leah Friedman (nee Goldstein), of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Monday, May 2nd, 2022 at the age of 96. She is survived by her loving children, David (Shoshana) Friedman, Heshy (Faigie) Friedman, and Chaya Esther (Rabbi Boruch) Brull; also survived by many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Leopold Friedman; Leah was the last of 16 children to survive the Holocaust; she is also predeceased by her parents, Tzvi Elimelech Goldstein and Rivka Goldstein.
Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Interment Shomrei Mishmeres Shearith Hapleita Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to Ahavas Yisrael Charity Fund, C/O Brull, 115 Sudbrook Lane Suite E, Baltimore, MD, 21208. The family will be in mourning at 6601 Park Heights Avenue #D1, Baltimore, MD, 21215, beginning Tuesday immediately following interment and concluding Monday morning, Shacharis 7:30 am each morning and Minchah/Maariv 7:45pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Minchah on Friday will be held at 3:00pm.
