Leroy Handwerger, of Pikesville, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, January 11th, 2023 at the age of 89. He is survived by his loving wife Muriel Handwerger (nee Abse); by his children Nadine Seidel, Lisa Jolbitado, and Neil (Shannon) Handwerger; by his siblings Melvin Handwerger, Philip Handwerger, Dr. Robert (Beverly) Handwerger; by his sisters-in-law Betty Handwerger and Rosalie Handwerger; by his grandchildren Zach Seidel (Jessica Burg), Kara Seidel, Lily Handwerger, Jenna Handwerger, and Maxwell Jolbitado. He was predeceased by his son-in-law Jeffrey Seidel; by his brothers Joel Handwerger and Stanley Handwerger; by his sister-in-law Jane Handwerger; and by his parents Katie and Nathan Handwerger.

Services at Baltimore Hebrew Berrymans Lane Cemetery, 318 Berrymans Lane, Reisterstown, MD 21136, on Friday, January 13th, 2023 at 10:30 am. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, 375 Kings Highway North, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 or to the charity of your choice. The family will be receiving at Freedom Masonic Lodge #112, 2253 Liberty Road, Eldersburg, MD 21784 following interment on Friday.
