Lola Lewin, 97, of Baltimore, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021. She is survived by her devoted children, Harriet L. Meier, M.D. and Harold (Chaim) B. Lewin, loving grandchildren, Dr. Benjamin M. Meier (Yayoi Shionoiri), Avi Z. Meier, M.D. (Samantha Hines Meier), and Adena J. Weisholtz (Drew), cherished grandchildren Ian S. Weisholtz, Miles R. Weisholtz and Madison Q. Meier, son-in-law Dr. Henry Louis Meier, niece Betty Weissman and nephew Eil Nebenzahl. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Irving Lewin, brother Morris Swicar, sister-in-law Regina Swicar Herschtal, and parents, siblings and other family members who perished in the Holocaust.

Lola was the matriarch of her family, the glue that held everyone together. She knew half of everyone in Baltimore, and really cared about them. Her gala (p'tcha) was legendary.
