Obituary for Martha Meier Glasner (Balk)
Martha Meier Glasner (nee Balk), of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Monday, April 17th, 2023 at the age of 92. She is survived by her children, Ira (Rita) Meier and Sherryl (David) Silberman; grandchildren, David (Jamie) Meier, Stephanie (Rodney) Blockston, Jared (Jillien) Meier, Michael (Kelly) Silberman and Stephen (Mara) Silberman. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands, Arnold Meier and Lewis Glasner; siblings, Shirley Snyder and Martin Balk; and parents, Rebecca and Jacob Balk.
Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Wednesday, April 19th, 2023 at 12:00 pm. Interment Chevra Ahavas Chesed Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to the charity of your choice. The family will be in mourning at 12312 Timber Grove Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, Wednesday following interment and Thursday beginning at 1pm, with services at 7:00pm both Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
