Rabbi Mordechai Lurie, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, February 15th, 2023 at the age of 82. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mrs. Leah Lurie (nee Shapiro); children, Rabbi Shmuel (Faigie) Lurie, Mrs. Sorie (Yehuda) Bloch, Rabbi Avraham (Shifra) Lurie, Mrs. Chevie (Chaim) Jacob, Rabbi Dovid (Nechama) Lurie, Rabbi Reuven (Rochel) Lurie, Mrs. Giggie (Shmuel Y.) Brandt, and Devorah (Aryeh) Halpert, as well as many more loving family members. He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Mary Lurie.

Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Thursday, February 16th, 2023, at 1:00 pm. Interment in Israel. Please omit flowers. Shiva information will be updated when available.
