Obituary for Martin Shayt
Martin Shayt of Baltimore, MD passed away on Monday, January 16th, 2023 at the age of 87. He is survived by his first cousin Rita Matcher Silverman. He was predeceased by his parents Elaine and Moses Shayt.
Martin’s curiosity about the world only grew after his retirement following 40 years of employment with BGE. He supplemented that curiosity with lots of traveling, volunteer work, and spirited conversations. His quick wit and effervescence will be missed by a host of close friends who were a part of his life over many years.
Graveside services to be held at Baltimore Hebrew Berrymans Lane Cemetery, 318 Berrymans Lane, Reisterstown, MD 21136 on Monday, January 23 at 12:30 pm.
