Correction to the obituary: Under children add David (Jill). Under grandchildren add: Alexis Perel, Logan Perel (Ashley), Blaire Perel (Daniel Swayze). Also 11 great grandchildren, not 10. Dearest Sandy, I'm sure your grief is responsible for your terrible oversight in the obituary (and the removal of the previous correction). Again, so sorry for all you have endured all these years.

Dear Sandy
I’m so sorry for your loss. I immediately think back to your first date. You were so excited and worried. Could he really be that good? Could he be for real? He made you laugh and you loved that. 2nd date sealed it! 3rd date and you were a couple. Vasarri brought you together and love and laughter kept you together for many good years. I grieve with you.

Sandy, my deepest sympathy on the loss of your wonderful Marty. The love and respect you had for each other was so beautiful to see. Marty’s face lit up every time he mentioned your name. You laughed and smiled at his stories and jokes even though I knew you had heard them many times before! May the love and memories you shared help you through this very sad time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Caren,
I was so saddened to learn about the loss of your grandfather yesterday in our email regarding BZD.
Last night as a family , we told the Passover story to our children to remember. Your grandfather's memory is part of the story that will live in our hearts and memories forever. The work you and your team at BZD are doing to bring the Virtual Tours of Jewish Communities into our homes is a blessing . I want to thank you for the wonderful educational programs I have had the opportunity to enjoy during this time of the COVID-19 Pandemic . Last night was just the beginning of the Counting of the Omer. Your grandfather's memory will be in ever prayer for the next 49 days as the Jewish Nation embarks on the Journey with you and your family .

To the Perel family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Marty was a true gentleman, and had quite a sense of humor. I always had a good time in his company, which was usually during a holiday.
May you find strength in your fond memories of Marty, and may his name always be for a blessing.
