I have lots of great memories of Mike. I remember wild all nite jams at the Sams Creek farm, and watching him play at many different bars and clubs - always with passion and virtuosity. And I remember his incredible stoicism and positivity and patience when things got tough.
But mostly I agree with Mimi. Mike was a mensch. Just a really good guy. And the world will never be quite as good a place without him in it. I consider myself very fortunate to have been his friend.
Very sorry for the families loss.

I always said Michael was the kindest man I ever knew. It was a pleasure to be a band mate with him. Nobody could play guitar like him, and he kept in touch after all these years went by. I send warm hugs to his family.

Mimi and family: Doris and I are saddened to learn of Mike's passing. Last year, we were planning a dinner together; our plans were stopped by covid. So sorry that time together didn't happen. Please know that we are thinking of you and hope that you find solace in Michael's strength which stood him so well in the face of adversity, and that you are comforted by many warm and loving memories. May you be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

We have many fun memories with you guys. I remember our time at the beach together and many great dinners at your house. I will always take to heart Mike’s heeding about “gentle healing” and the way he remained positive through difficult times. He was a role model for how to deal gracefully with chronic illness. He was such an amazing person! His beautiful imprint on this earth will continue to be felt by all who loved him.

I have wonderful memories from back at the ‘ farm days ‘ of he and Charlie playing music. Mike was a gentle person, always engaging. I can still picture his face squeezing out those notes on his guitar.
I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Mimi and Family,
I am so sorry that Michael has left us. He fought hard against every obstacle placed before him and was an inspiration to so many of us.
He never forgot to wish me a Happy Birthday on Facebook and was always happily talking about his guitars.
My memories of Michael taking me through his Dunkin Doughnut shop to see how the doughnuts were made will always be a beautiful memory I had as a young girl.
He will forever be in our hearts and very missed by us all.

I was so very sorry to hear this news today. Most of my memories of Mike are from family events when I was growing up...I can see his smiling face, and will always remember him as a genuinely nice guy. I was always happy to run into him at gatherings over the years, and while it's been quite a long time since I saw him, I have very fond memories of years ago, going all the way back to family parties in my grandmother's basement, and in later years, in my aunt and uncle's living room on Mother's Day. know that he had a special relationship with my brother Steven, and that is really meaningful to me also. My thoughts are with you Mimi and Ronnie. The world lost a really great guy today.

I am saddened by Mike's passing. What a sweet and decent man. As his friend and neighbor, I was always so impressed by his strength of character in dealing with the difficult medical hurdles he faced. Despite it all he loved every day and every one. I will miss him.
