Obituary for Mimi Bilenky
Mimi Bilenky (nee Cohen), of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the age of 87. She is survived by her cherished sons, Gary (Rochelle) Bilenky and Rick (Nikki) Bilenky; sister, Bettye Cohen; grandchildren, Steven (Danielle) Bilenky, Jennifer Bilenky (Frank Houser), Michelle (Brandon) Aument, and Lauren (Jeffrey) Love; and great-grandchildren, Bennett and Parker Love. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bernard Bilenky; and parents, Bessie and Simon Cohen.
Mrs. Bilenky met Bernard at an Army dance. She devoted herself to raising her sons and then went on to work as a teacher's assistant at Baltimore Hebrew for over 20 years. She delighted in having her grandchildren in her preschool classes. Mrs. Bilenky loved playing Mahjong, doing puzzles and - most importantly - being with friends and family. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
