Naomi B. Proper (nee Bernstein), of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Friday, February 12th, 2021 at the age of 95. She is survived by her cherished children, Sharon Proper (Robert J.) Hameroff, Deborah Proper (Jake) Jacobson, and Larry (Tammy Markowitz) Proper; sister, Judy Bernstein (Herschel) Goldman; grandchildren, Rebecca Ellen (Sabrina Jeanette) Smith-Hameroff, Dr. Avi Hirsh (Lindsay Jill Kleiman) Hameroff, Marci Beth Hameroff, Alexander Jacobson, Ari (Sara Hermann) Jacobson, Eric Reuben Proper (fianceé, Stephanie Lauren Deutsch), and Emily Jacklyn Proper; and great-grandchildren, Jordana Ashley Hameroff, Ezra Shai Hameroff, and Emmett Dylan Jacobson. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Reuben Proper; daughter, Susan Proper, and parents, Betty and Lazar Bernstein.

Naomi lived her life to the fullest, whether it be playing bingo and mah jongg, or spending time with friends and family. She will be deeply missed.
